“What a gem. Everything was perfect, from the huge comfy bed to the outstanding breakfast. So many lovely details and touches, Chris and Meg are the most welcoming and personable hosts and have created a really special place. We were lucky enough to have the guest sitting room to ourselves to read books in front of the woodburner. We also took advantage of the pizza on offer which was delicious! Highly recommend, and we hope to be back soon.”

A luxury B&B
“The room was huge with a lovely, comfortable big bed and a nice selection of teas, coffee and biscuits. The bathroom was perfect and spotlessly clean. Meg and Chris were the fantastic hosts… Meg’s cooking for breakfast was outstanding and her muffins were to die for. We particularly enjoyed the pancakes on our second morning! Our Labrador was also made to feel very welcome with treats and a bed whilst we had breakfast… Far better than any hotel!”

A special place with special people
“We’re just back from a two night stay with Meg, Chris and Molly the dog. What makes this place special, apart from the incredibly attentive hosts, is the attention to detail. It’s everywhere in the rooms, the breakfast and accompanying music, the bedroom tray, the dog treat, the dog bed..... We will be back and have already booked our daughter and my sister a stay too 😊. Ssshhh don't tell anyone though as we want to make sure we can get a room next time!

What a great find!
“This is one of the best Scottish B&Bs we’ve stayed at, with the most wonderful warm hospitality. There’s the huge bedroom with the comfiest big bed, beautiful wallpaper throughout, the best looking tea-cosies, the great books… the list is endless! This is no ordinary B&B. There’s so many extra little touches: the tea and biscuits on arrival, the complimentary whisky in the lounge in the evening, the homemade waffles that were on the “special” menu in the morning, the blueberry muffins to take away with us. Oh goodness, I could go on and on. Go there and you’ll see what I’m raving about.”

A lovely, welcoming place
”This is our third visit here as visiting family locally. It is such a lovely, welcoming place to stay. Parking is available. A lovely comfy bed and en-suite. Body wash and hand soap supplied with beautiful towels. Breakfast offers juice, fruit, cereal (including home made granola), natural yoghurt, jams and a variety of cooked items including a full Scottish breakfast and the days ‘special’. There is a guest lounge, which has the log fire and is so nice to come back to in the winter. The hosts are lovely, kind and friendly. We will be returning. We ate out locally at the Dalmore which was one of the best meals out recently.”
